Art = Health

 

Art and health are synonymous and ATYP team have been working in the arts and health realm for many years with great success. Most recently Liz Lea developed the Moon Moves project with ACT Health funding.

 

In 2010 Liz was the Artistic Director of Canberra Dance Theatre and with an ACT Health grant established the GOLD company of elders with Philip Piggin and Jane Ingall.

 

For the Canberra Centenary performances in 2013 we developed Life is a Work of Art with the National Gallery of Australia with another ACT Health Grant with artsACT support.

 

In 2016 I was awarded an Australian Dance Award for my direction of Great Sport! for the GOLD company at the National Museum of Australia. Another ACT health grant with artsACT support.

 

In 2011 the GOLDs have their tenth Anniversary.
